Children have come to have a check-up by the medical team

We love the children of Cambodia. Sadly, many children lack basic medical attention that many of us take for granted. After a visit to the nutrition program, some brethren decided to try to make a difference for these precious little ones.

So in September we hosted our first SNACK Program Medical Mission to one of the villages we serve. In all, 163 patients were seen by our Cambodian doctors from Cambodia Christian Ministries (http://cambodiaministries.org/) while our evangelists shared the good news with those waiting for care.

Please say a prayer of thanksgiving for the children, the medical team and for the donors. May God cause faith in Him to grow by our service to these villagers.

Ephesians, Colossians, Philemon at CBI

book-of-ephesians Beginning in August Dennis began teaching new courses at the Cambodia Bible Institute. Along with revealing many facets of living, holy, pure lives in the image of our Creator, the Spirit declares the foundational truth that Christ and the church are the grand result of the eternal plan of God to save mankind, all mankind.

Colossians  In Colossians the Spirit reveals the sovereignty and sufficiency of Christ over everything He created…therefore, live holy lives in His image.

philemon  From the short letter to Philemon we see that the best motivation to do what is right is love. What tremendous blessings these letters are to the church. They have great application in the Cambodian cultural setting to encourage and build faith in Christ. We encourage you to read these letters again and marvel at our glorious King and His bride. Please join our prayer for the students (and all of us as well) that we might grow in our understanding of the depth of God’s grace and love, and be enlightened by His wisdom.

Tola Says Goodbye to SNACK

SNACK Program Driver and Teacher, Tola Moves On

Tola and us

Our dear sweet brother/driver/teacher/friend has decided it is time to move on from SNACK. We gave him a going-away party on the day we had visitors from Malaysia serve as volunteer helpers (left in photo below). May God bless Tola with a new ministry according to his gifts and God’s plan for his life. We love you brother. Keep the faith & preach the Word!

CBS Graduation

Cambodia Bible School Graduation

The Cambodia Bible School (not to be confused with the Cambodia Bible Institute or CBI where Dennis frequently teaches) hosted a graduation celebration and invited us to join. We had fun sharing in the celebration with the graduates, students and staff of CBS, a ministry of Cambodian Christian Ministries. Special thanks to CBS Dean, Sokhom Hun for his enduring friendship and brotherly love to us. Please join our prayer that these new graduates will be faithful proclaimers of the good news message throughout Cambodia.

2015 Asian Mission Forum

It is always a blessing for us to join with brethren from all over Asia to celebrate our Lord, to study about the Kingdom, and to encourage and love on one another. This year’s forum was hosted by our Filipino brethren at the Princesa Garden Island Resort, Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines with the theme of “Our Culture in Christ.” We pray that we were as encouraging to others as they were to us.

New Sister in Domnak Pring Village

Saan is Baptized into Christ

Meet our new sister-in-Christ “Sann.” While we were at the Asian Mission Forum in the Philippines our evangelists continued to spread the good news. God’s Word is producing fruit in Cambodia through the faithful brothers of the SNACK Program.  May God be glorified as the Kingdom of God grows in the Kingdom of Cambodia.  We ask you to join our prayers of praise to the Lord of the harvest for many more disciples and churches in Cambodia.
