 Students:

1.    New Students: You may remember we added 5 new students in November.  At the start of February, we added 3 more.  Somnang and Ngeit are both from Chhaeut’s (current student) village.  Sophal is an older married man from a village.  He plans to study during the week and travel home on the weekend.  See pictures at our (Dolan’s) blog http://www.randrdolan.blogspot.com/.
2.   Class for New Students: CBI just started a class for newer students (7 all together) that Veasna is teaching.  It meets during the time Loren is teaching Daniel.  The thought was that it’s better for our new students to get some basics.  This is Veasna’s first class to teach at CBI.
3.   One-on-One Meetings:  Dennis and I (Rich) met with the students one-on-one this week.  This was to go over their progress and help map out a plan for them.

 Classes:

January 2-27 – Philippians and Epistles of John – George Carman

– Gospel of Mark – Dennis Welch (in Khmer)

January 30-Feb 3 – Evangelism Week

February 6-17 – Characteristics of Jesus – Bob Jackson

February 6-March 2 – Daniel – Loren Hollingsworth

February 6-March 2 – Bible Basics – Veasna Tol

Evangelism Week: Last week, we went out to 8 different villages. We were able to split the students into two groups.  (Glad to have use of the van the Welchs helped procure for CBI and the SNACK Program.)  7 of those villages don’t have a church meeting there now.  Pray that God will bless this effort with new church plants.

Graduates News: Veasna (June 2009 grad), Chheauv (Dec 2009 grad) and Try (June 2010 grad) have all been helping to translate.

Upcoming Classes:

February 20-March 27 – Psalms – Rich Dolan (in Khmer)

March 5-6 – Evangelism Days

March 7-March 27 – James – Dennis Welch (in Khmer)

March 28-30 – Evangelism Days

April 2-13 – New Testament Church – Rich (all-day class)
