The following is from Bill McDonough, director of Partners In Progress. PIP is the group we are working alongside in the villages to help children nutritionally, educationally, and spiritually.
Honorable Mention by Director of Public Health
This week the Director of Public Health of Kandal province here in Cambodia gave us special mention at his monthly briefing, saying that Partners In Progress has done more for the indigent people of his province then any other NGO. He went on to say that the Ship of Life, Nutrition program and Back To School programs were helping more people then any programs currently operating there. He compared our work to the UN, UNICEF, USAID and other NGOS and said it was “obvious that our real concern for the people was what made the difference.”
Our Motto; “Treating others as we wish to be treated” is resonating with local authorities. To remind our staff of this we are printing T-Shirts and Caps for them to wear displaying that Logo.
