HELPING CAMBODIAN CHILDREN

HELPING CAMBODIAN CHILDREN

Tabitha reviewing a book report

Sharon spent the day in the countryside helping Troy and Tabitha Snowbarger with a program that was started to help motivate and advance the Cambodian children in their reading skills.  This program allows the children to check-out books, later be tested to check their comprehension, and then to receive “chicken money” to purchase a variety of items that they otherwise might not have.  The program works in conjunction with the “Back to School Program,” and the “Nutritional Feeding Program.”  It was great getting to spend the day with the children and seeing how this facet of the program works.   The level of nutrition the children receive through the Nutritional Feeding Program has also helped tremendously.  Special thanks to all who have helped!  Continue to watch for future updates regarding these programs.

Please pray for these poor, malnourished children and for those who minister to them.

Love your work! I have dear friends in Cambodia – looking for a Khmer Children’s Bible or at least Bible storybook. When I googled this subject line – your blog popped up — could you please let me know where you found the Bible book pictured? Was it purchased locally (in country?)? Please advise and thank you!!!
