House Hunting

We have arrived in Phnom Penh (thank You Lord!) with all our stuff (again, thanks!).  We are very blessed to be staying in the home of Rich and Ronda Dolan, formerly of Broken Arrow, OK and now living in Phnom Penh since 8/07.  Rich is the Dean of the Cambodia Bible Institute and that makes him my boss when I start teaching at the school.  That’s the future.

The present is finding a house.  Today, we walked up and down seven blocks looking for “for rent” signs in English.  We found three and will need to have someone who speaks Khmer (the language of the Cambodians) to call about them for us.  Please pray we find the right house in a timely manner.

We did apply to absentee vote at the US Embassy yesterday!  Have you registered???

Yesterday, we also visited the language school we might attend in the short-term until the other one starts on 10/06/08.  They were very friendly and helpful.

We have had the blessing of attending chapel the last two mornings, reuniting with the students we have come to love so dearly.

Serving the Lord (and you) in Cambodia,

Dennis & Sharon

It is wonderful to see that you finally were able to accomplish at least the first part of your dream. I know that you will be a blessing to the people of Phnom Penh and all the surrounding areas. I finally got a job too. Enjoy the the fact that you are making a difference in the Lord’s kingdom each day.
