Dennis & Sharon Welch in Taipei Airport

Hello everyone!  We are writing this blog post from a free wireless internet hotspot in the Taipei, Taiwan airport during our last layover before catching our final connection to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.  The Lord has blessed us with safe travels even though the rides have been bumpy.  It will probably come as no surprise to many of you that we kinda like the roller coaster effect.  The thunderstorm over Taipei caused the pilots to make a missed approach on their first attempt – just added some extra excitement for us.  We have done lots of sleeping enroute so feel pretty rested at this point.  We pray all of you enjoy and are encouraged by our posts.  We long to bring glory to God.  Please help us by your praises and thanksgivings to Him in prayer.  We will post again at the next opportunity.  Because of the hope we have, Dennis & Sharon

    Ride that hump
    And Timbuktu’s a jillion bumps
    Sleeping bags and battle flags
    Are coiled and furled
    That’s the way you travel
To the far side of the world!

    Dennis & Sharon,

All the best in you efforts in Cambodia. If any one can bring people to the Lord, I know you guys can. Words cannot express the commitment you have made. It takes a very special person to dedicate their lives fully for His cause and we all should be more like you. Whether, on the other side of the world, on the other side of town, or just on the other side of the street we should alway be on the lookout for men and women to bring to Christ. You are both wonderful and are greatly missed.

We look forward to seeing you again soon!!

Adam, Alicia & Faith (and soon to be baby Addie)

  9. Royce & Barbara Wesley says:
