Cambodia Summit 2007 – Garland (DFW), Texas – April 14, 2007

2007 Cambodia Summit Participants

Hey thanks Saturn Road congregation for helping Mission Resource Network (MRN) host this forum.  We all had a great time sharing in the glory of Lord about things Cambodian.  We talked of all we had learned the Lord is doing to transform the kingdom of Cambodia into the Kingdom of God.  If you weren’t there and have a work going-on, we most certainly talked about you behind your back.  We had so much good to say!  When we diagramed it out, we saw the hand of God busy all over Cambodia; making disciples, humanitarian efforts, church plants, leadership training to make more disciples all happening in many places.  Because the Spirit of Lord is at work, good news is being proclaimed to the poor, liberty is being proclaimed to the captives of sin, the spiritually blind are receiving sight, and the oppressed are being set free.  Clearly, the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of His salvation are being proclaimed.  All glory and praise to you, Father!

Mark Hooper, MRN’s Facilitator for Asian Church Planting served us as point man for the event.  He kept us all on track as we advanced our goals and visions.  We admire his love for his work and the effort he puts into it.  Thanks Mark!  Future and current missionaries with some of their supporters from all over the US, local Cambodians, and others all assembled in the name of Jesus to praise God, build-up each other, and share information.  Everyone was encouraged and enlightened.  Bonds of love were begun and strengthened.  Each saint present made a determined commitment to unity of Master and mission.  So much was discussed; we look forward to seeing Mark’s report of the day’s activities.  The day was like church camp in that we soared to spiritual heights.  We surely serve a mighty God!
